Before bidding on the car ask the seller if you can look at it and if there are any doubts or things that don't add up, can you pass on the deal, Most any honest seller will say yes. Also have them take it to a reputable shop or dealership and pay for an inspection , the peace of mind will serve you well. Most people are HONEST, you just have to talk to the person and "get a feel" for them and if you feel like this is someone you can trust, go ahead. Look at their feedback, thats really important, how long have they been a member, these kind of things.
